I forgot to mention on the blog post from yesterday that we removed the white box from the play pen and are just sticking with the Regalo gating. It did open the area up just a tad, but nothing huge. The reason that we left that box in there was because they were too small, although these puppies are some of the biggest that we have ever had, and they fit between the bars. Due to this, we have to keep the white box in our setup.
During this transition, we typically move the puppies to another safe place so that we can move around and do anything that we need to do without thinking about the puppies being in the way. However, when we started, most of them were asleep so we decided to leave them. There were no real issues or complaints from the puppies.
